Seriously? I think it’s pretty obvious that using the word malicious was my way of telling the people who wrote those comments that I will not be tolerating those type of comments on here and that they will be ignored. The word malicious was meant at face value and nothing more, which is evident considering I used it in a context that clearly suggests I was addressing those who wrote them (not Sam) with contempt. I find it odd that you are interpreting my words so defensively though.

I’m pretty sure most people will agree that someone who is immature themselves has no business instructing others to be what they are not. That’s called being hypocritical, and it was too flagrant in their comment for me not to address it. And you are mistaken, I am mature but duly noted—thank you for your input.

Haha, alright well I can’t say I didn’t expect this. You’re entitled to think that of me and I’m not stopping you, but by the same token I don’t believe someone preaching about maturity would formulate generalizations and use that as the basis for judging a person’s character. What’s more, someone waxing philosophical on the importance of being mature would do so in a mature fashion. Spewing didactic, condescending advice on how I need to “grow the fuck up” is paradoxical in itself and in no way constitutes mature behavior. And for that matter, someone who evidently believes in behaving maturely certainly wouldn’t throw around catty names or use profane, petty language. So had it not been for those things, I would have considered your suggestion or at least have been more inclined to do so. That being said, I assume you wrote your comment in anticipation of a sincere response (since that’s the premise of this website), so I’ll give you that. As I see it, you’re a bit misguided on what’s been going on. Perhaps you’ve drawn conclusions from one-sided or limited knowledge of this situation, but I assume your notion that I’ve been engaging in internet fighting with Sam is based on the 3 comments I recently left in her formspring. Those comments are the only things I have ever written on the internet about this situation or even directly said to Sam on the subject, so your impression that I wish to continue fighting with Sam (or ever instigated any fighting in the first place) is completely off. So I’m having a little trouble seeing how I’ve been taking part in any “internet fighting” if those 3 comments were the only input I’ve given. And thank you for your concern, I promise to try my best to act my age. Which is 19, not 20 haha. (I’m glad you know me well enough to know that I turned 19 fairly recently.)

For the record, this is the first and last formspring I’m answering on this subject. I haven’t been losing sleep over any of this, so I don’t see why others should be. To whoever wrote any of the 4 other formsprings in my inbox that say malicious things about Sam, I’m not responding. If neither Sam nor I care about this, then there really shouldn’t be any reason for anyone to be dragging out drama in this indirect, passive aggressive way. It’s unnecessary and accomplishes nothing.

Awh thank yousss! Truthfully, I haven’t been on Tumblr in forever and I feel terrible about it, but I’m glad you’re liking the stuff that’s posting from my queue! I’m going to be back on in the next couple of days though. I’ve just been really busy lately (these past couple of weeks specifically) with summer coming to an end, errands, appointments, packing, preparing to move, spending time with the people I’m going to miss most (and I’ve been doing a pretty shitty job with managing time at that), etc…
